About the position

As Head of Purchasing and Logistics, you will be responsible for building a new department that will serve the company's purchasing and logistics functions. The position is primarily administrative, but we expect you to be a practical manager who, when needed, contributes to the daily operations together with the warehouse and logistics employees. You will have a major influence on how the function is organized and developed, while also becoming an important support player for the project organization.

Work tasks

• Lead and further develop the company's purchasing and logistics function.

• Personnel responsibility for warehouse and logistics employees.

• Assist project managers with major purchases and acquisitions.

• Negotiate and follow up on suppliers and supplier agreements.

• Establish and further develop routines and systems for purchasing, warehousing and logistics.

• Further develop digital solutions and contribute to increased efficiency.

• Ensure good inventory management, logistics and internal service.

• Contribute to cost-effective solutions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and characteristics

• Have relevant higher education in logistics, purchasing, economics, technical subjects or equivalent.

• Have experience in purchasing, logistics, warehousing or project management.

• Is a clear leader with good communication and collaboration skills.

• Works structured and systematic.

• Has good financial and business understanding.

• Has an interest in digitization and continuous improvement.

• Thrives in combining administrative work and practical tasks.

Solid and relevant experience can compensate for a lack of formal education.
